Redemptorist Vocational School for People with Disabilities

It was still the middle of the night when the students from the vocational school traveled a few kilometers down to Pattaya Beach Road to join the thousands of Thais and foreigners who were about to take part in the annual Pattaya Marathon.

Our students were joined by a few teachers, as well as several former students to compete in the 10 kilometer race.

The race started at 5:30, just as the sun was starting to rise and an hour later the temperature was already in the mid 30’s (above 80F to our friends in the US)

It was a hard slog, especially for those competing for the very first time, but they all made it across the finish line, they then had to wheel themselves all the way back to school. Lucky for them it is a Sunday and they have the rest of the day off.
