Father Ray Children’s Home
Each Saturday afternoon after lunch there is a noise coming from the Father Ray Children’s Home which some enjoy and others hate.
It is the time for the boys who form the rock band to rehearse and while they have a large repertoire of songs to play, and they do play their instruments well, they still have a long way to go before they are ready to become good enough to perform to the general public. However they do play at all the birthday parties at the Home, and knowing all the popular hits of the day they get all the children singing along.
But these boys love their music, and it is good to see that they show an interest in something they love doing.
Unfortunately the music room is right next door to the health clinic, which means that any sick child hoping for silence to recover from an illness will not have much peace and quiet.
