We need your help to ensure we can provide our children and students with a healthy, nutritious and well balanced diet.
As well as providing rice at each meal, we also need

Education

It is essential that all our children attend school. The residents of the Father Ray Children’s Home attend 14 different schools and they must be provided with a regular school uniform, a Scouts uniform and a sports kit.

We need your help to purchase school uniforms for the children at the Father Ray Children’s Home, Children’s Village, School for the Blind and the Drop-In Center. A school uniform costs 1680 Thai Baht –

US$53 – £35 – €44 for each child

Toiletries

Keeping so many children clean is an expensive business. Our boys go out to play wearing clean clothes and within an hour they are filthy dirty.
Can you help us to keep our children and students clean? We need

• shampoo
• soap
• toothpaste and tooth brushes
• dental floss
• hair brushes and combs
• sanitary towels
• flannels and towels
• Laundry powder and detergent is urgently required.

Medical examinations

Within a week of a new arrival at the Father Ray Children’s Home we take them to a local hospital for a medical examination. A blood sample is taken, the children have their chest x-rayed and there are eye and dental examinations.

The cost of providing these medical examinations is:

1200 Thai Baht – US$40 – £25 – €31 for each child

Sports

Keeping fit and healthy is just as important as eating the right food and receiving an education, and we encourage our children and students to take part in sporting activities.
Can you donate

• balls – for soccer, ta-kraw, volleyball and basketball
• swimming costumes (small child sizes), goggles and life jackets
• badminton and tennis racquets, balls and shuttlecocks
• trainers, soccer boots, soccer shirts and shorts are always in short supply
