With the many different Children's' programs being administrated by the Fr. Ray Foundation, Sponsorship is the most stable means of insuring that a child will receive a good education, a clean and safe home, and enough good food, medical care, and clothing to sustain them. This allows them to put all their energy into healthy growth for the younger ones and scholastic or vocational programs for the older ones.
Once we are assured that a child or student is adequately sponsored for the coming year, it allows us to go on to helping the next child, and the next and the next.
The average cost of supporting a child for one year is around 2,000 USD. We realize that even though you want to help, this amount is out of reach for most of our sponsors. For this reason, we have "shared" sponsorship. This means that one child would have more than one sponsor, however all who are sponsors of a child would receive correspondence from the child if the child can write, periodical updates on their scholastic or vocational skills and a card from the child or student at Christmas. Visits with the sponsored child or student can be arranged as long as adequate notice is given to our administration staff to arrange the meeting.
