Family History and General Information
Arm is a young 7 years old boy who came into our care recently. His mother asked for our help after Arm’s step-father became increasingly abusive to him. Arm was taken into our care and has been adjusting well to his new surroundings. Even though he is already 7 years old, it seems as though he has never attended school before as he doesn’t know even the basics. Our staff are now working with him every day to introduce him to basic education material like learning the Thai alphabet with the hopes he will understand enough to enroll in school when the new school year begins in May.
His teachers report that Arm is a lovely young boy who has a big of a naughty streak in him. He has been assigned to organise the boys’ shoes in the hallway and make sure everything is put away properly. He can be relied upon to do his assigned tasks well. Arm is always ready to help with anything and everything for his teachers and friends.
Arm’s favorite pastime is watching cartoons, and action and adventure movies. He loves how quickly they move and all the different special effects. Arm has made lots of new friends at the Home, his favourite new friend is Film, who he says takes care of him and always shares his snacks.
In the first month of Arm being with us he was able to join in many of the Home’s activities; the trip to Bangsaen Beach was his favourite. He liked it because he had the chance to swim in the crystal clear water and play on the beach. He then went to see a musical and play at Burapha University which he enjoyed immensely.
Arm’s mother calls to check on him and make sure he is doing well.
