Family History and General Information
Greg comes from a poor and broken family in Nakhon Sawan. His parents are separated while his father whereabouts is unknown. His mother is in prison for drug offences and Greg’s grandmother has been taking care of him ever since. However she is unable to continue to care for him due to the frequent child abuse and violence his grandfather inflicted on Greg.
Greg and his grandparents live in Pattaya in poverty. They heard about the Father Ray Foundation from the local social welfare office and were referred to our social worker who gladly took Greg into our care at the Father Ray Children’s Village.
Greg is three and half years old. He is a cheerful little boy who is a bit hesitant around men, understandably so. Everyone is quite pleased and relieved to see that Greg has fit into the Village quite nicely and is happy living with the boys in Rose House.
In the past few months that Greg has been in our care he has become a different young boy. He has completely come out of his shell; he is happy, smiling and always wanting to play with the big boys. We are so happy and glad to see his progress now that he knows he is safe and loved.
