Pattaya School for the Blind

On the last Thursday of June the Wai Khru ceremony takes place at the School for the Blind.

This is the day when the students pay respect to their teachers. Not just for teaching them new knowledge, but also for guiding them, counseling them and encouraging them in their daily life.

Principal of the school, Mrs. Aurora, welcomed the invited guests and benefactors and reminded the guests that the school only exists thanks to their generosity.

Father Peter represented the teaching staff and accepted on their behalf a variety of floral decorations that each class of students produced.

It was them the turn of the students to receive their awards for excellent work in the classroom and on the sporting field.

This was then followed by the children offering hand made flowers to their teachers, our volunteers and the generous supporters who attended.
